Teaching and learning support

The Teaching and Learning Development Unit (in Finnish, Opetuksen ja opiskelun tuki) aims to develop the teaching and studying culture of the University. The Unit organises education for teachers and students, takes an active role in enhancing teaching, starts new projects and cooperates with the other Aalto University School of Science and Technology units to develop its activities. Currently it has a staff of 10.

Psychology service for students helps you with issues relating to motivational challenges, learning difficulties, general study skills and stress coping. As a student of the School of Science and Technology, you may book your private appointment by phone (09) 470 28749 or (09) 470 24546 (the best time to call is during the phone hour on Tuesdays 12-1pm) or by e-mail: opintopsykologi [at] tkk [dot] fi. If you book an appointment by e-mail make sure to include your phone number. The psychologists are Vuokko Kela and Timo Tapola.
