Workstations and printing

There are altogether 29 work stations on the second floor of the library, which may be used free of charge. The computers are connected to the Internet and they all have the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system, USB ports, memory card slots and CD/DVD writers.

Nine of the work stations may be used by all users to access online resources.

All the other work stations require a valid Aalto University login name and password; their use is thus limited to the students and staff of the Schools of Technology. The workstations have identical software with the ones used in the School of Science and Technology computer classes, including for example, the Microsoft Office package.

You can print from the library computers at € 0.10 per printout by choosing "lib-ps2" as the printer, and pick up your printouts at the circulation desk.
