The rules for using the archived materials

Overnight and weekend loans

The reading room copies of the text books are available for overnight and weekend loans. A patron is allowed two items for short loan at a time. Circulation attendant will help you place requests for short loan in advance.

Overnight and weekend loans are issued:

  • During weekdays: no earlier than 2 hours before closing time.
  • During the summer and on Saturdays: no earlier than 1 hour before closing time.

However, if the requested text book is being used by another patron, it can only be taken out after the other patron is no longer using it.

Please note that overnight and weekend loans must be returned within one hour of opening on the following working day; the overdue fees for short loans are considerably higher than those for standard loans, 1 €/hour.
