Parking and access by car

There are three watched parking zones near the library.

There are a few parking lots–including one for disabled persons–at the so-called upper yard which lies on the left when entering the yard of the library from Otaniementie. Maximum parking time limit at the upper field is one hour.

On the right is the so-called lower yard that has slightly more parking room. Maximum parking time limit is four hours. Some of the lots are reserved for library staff.

If the above mentioned parking lots don't have space you can park your car at the yard of the nearby mall. You have to drive there through the Otakaari intersection; the signpost reads "Teekkarikylä". This parking zone has a maximum parking time limit of two hours.
