Nelli introduction

The Nelli portal provides access to all electronic journals, books, databases, encyclopaedias and library collection databases that are available at the Aalto University. Via the Nelli portal you also have access to some freely available open access materials but most of the content is chargeable and acquired by the library for limited access within the Otaniemi campus area.

Nelli is a tool for using, controlling and monitoring electronic materials. It is possible to perform versatile information searches and to search in multiple databases simultaneously. With the My Space feature you can build your own selection of important e-materials and for instance set up automatic searches.

The Nelli portal is a national information retrieval portal. Nelli is in use in university, polytechnic and public libraries. The portal is maintained by the National Library of Finland.
