Information about publications - Aalto series

All in total about 200 publication series of the Helsinki School of Economics, the University of Art and Design, and the Helsinki University of Technology were ceased at the end of the year 2010 and in their stead five series in Finnish and five series in English joint for the whole Aalto University were founded. The new series are:

Aalto-yliopiston julkaisusarja, KAUPPA + TALOUS
Aalto University Publication Series, BUSINESS + ECONOMY
Aalto-yliopiston julkaisusarja, TAIDE + MUOTOILU + ARKKITEHTUURI
Aalto University Publication Series, ART + DESIGN + ARCHITECTURE
Aalto-yliopiston julkaisusarja, TIEDE + TEKNOLOGIA
Aalto University Publication Series, SCIENCE + TECHNOLOGY
Aalto University Publication Series, CROSSOVER

The recommended way is to publish the doctoral dissertation in the DOCTORAL DISSERTATIONS series. However, the dissertation can alternatively be published in some other scientific series or as a separate volume outside series.

The reports, teaching materials, conference proceedings as well as working papers of the Aalto University Schools of Technology are mainly published in the TIEDE + TEKNIIKKA (publications in Finnish), SCIENCE + TECHNOLOGY or CROSSOVER series.
