Electronic journals

The focus in journal acquisitions is in electronic journals. About 26,000 electronic journals are accessible at the Aalto University School via the Nelli portal. The journals can be used in the whole Aalto University network whether the subscriber is the library or some of the university's institutions. A majority of the subscriptions have been made via The FinELib consortium. A part of the journals linked to Nelli are scientific open access journals available freely in the net.

Electronic journals can be browsed in Nelli by alphabet or category and searches can be aimed at single journal issues. Journal articles can be read as full text and for example be printed or sent via e-mail.
